Abstract We provide a critical discussion concerning the claim of topological valley currents, driven by global Berry curvature and Hall effect proposed in recent literature. After pointing out major inconsistency theoretical scenario to interpret giant nonlocal resistance, we discuss various possible alternative explanations open directions research solve mystery transport graphene superlattices.
